I know, it might sound cold to say but I think anyone who's seen Alzheimer's disease strengthen its grip on a loved one will agree, sooner or later, they aren't living anymore, they're just awaiting death.
As a Hawks fan growing up when Henri and the great Montreal teams were winning all those Cups - I hated their success but I always admired them as players. I met Jean Beliveau when I was a kid and he was one of the biggest stars in the league and he couldn't have been nicer to talk with a dorky 10 year old kid for a few minutes - and Henri was in that same class. RIP #16.
